About Buyer Agents

Virtually all real estate agents are members of the National Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service.

All Realtors are legally & ethically bound to promote the best interest of their client, buyer or seller.

They all use the same information data base.

They all essentially offer the same services to a buyer:

Make you aware of what is available that fits your criteria.
Show you properties.
Assist you in preparing and negotiating an offer.
Coordinate events leading to a closing.

In services provided and results achieved there are no significant differences among agents or offices.

Also, no matter how many agents an office may have, only one will be working for you. The rest are either indifferent, because there is nothing in it for them or they are representing the seller. Designated Agency is the law in Illinois.

Advantage Realty, however, does offer you a significant difference. Buyers we represent exclusively receive 20% of the coop fee paid to us by the listing office. This can be hundreds to thousands of dollars depending on the price of the home and the coop offered.
